Kathryn Sagar was awarded the Topeka Professional Chapter of the Association for Women in Communications (AWC) Rising Star Award for 2005.

Kathryn Sagar, owner of K.S. Marketing Solutions, joined AWC in 2003 and was nominated for continually developing new ways to promote AWC. She has shown a great deal of dedication as a new member. During the past year Sagar served as the vice president of administration.

She was recently elected the chapter’s president-elect and is also serving as the student relations chair. Sagar has also served on several committees.
