Mary Napier was awarded the Topeka Professional Chapter of the Association for Women in Communications (AWC) Vanguard Award for 2007 & National Chapter Star Award.
     Napier is President of Napier Communications, Inc. and Executive Director of the Topeka Bar Association. She joined AWC in 2005. Soon after becoming a member, she joined the Board of Directors as Vice President of Administration, before moving into the President-Elect position.
     She has given tirelessly of her time and talents to the organization, and she is the wearer of many hats among the board of directors of the Topeka chapter. Napier has served as both President-Elect and Hospitality Chair during the 2006-2007 term of office. Additionally, Napier has filled in as Vice President of Administration at board meetings, taken meal money when necessary, provided door prizes, attended all monthly member meetings, board meetings, and socials, and has generally served the organization with a willing hand and a smile.
    Napier will be Chapter President for 2007-08.
