WANT 10 GREAT WAYS TO CONNECT WITH TOPEKA PROFESSIONALS?

AWC HAS THEM...

1) Annual Headliner Awards, 2) Job Bank, 3) Networking, 4) Community Investment, 5) Scholarships, 6) After Hours Events, 7) Volunteer Opportunities, 8) Membership Awards, 9) Luncheons, 10) Monthly Programs Focused on the Communications Industry

Annual Headliner Awards
The Headliner Awards recognize women communications professionals in the Topeka community who made a significant contribution to a non-profit, for-profit or media organization in a given calendar year.  During the event, we also award our annual scholarship to a student at Washburn who has shown aptitude and interest in the field of communications.

Job Bank
Job listings are sent to members on a regular basis to keep you aware of job opportunities in the area.

Networking
Networking opportunities are available at monthly luncheons, at after hours events held during the year, and at other Topeka AWC events.

Community Investment
Each year our members donate their time, resources, talents or a sponsorship to assist a local non-profit as a way to give back.

Volunteer Opportunities
Along with an opportunity to serve in a board or committee chair role, you also have an opportunity to help with other AWC projects like the Headliner Awards and Community Investment.

Member Awards
Outstanding members are recognized annually through membership awards for their service to the chapter.

Luncheons & Programs
Our Topeka Chapter meets every third Tuesday of the month unless otherwise stated.  Speakers are leaders in the field of communications and topics vary from industry trends and professional development to best practices and more.
