The inaugural Topeka AWC Headliner Awards will recognize communications professionals who have made a significant contribution to a non-profit, for-profit or media organization in 2009. Headliner honorees will be recognized at an awards luncheon on March 30, 2010 at noon. Proceeds from the luncheon will be used for college scholarships for students in the communications field, professional development, and community investment projects.

Headliner Luncheon

Washburn Room A (Memorial Union) - Washburn University
Check-in: 11:15 am
Lunch Served: 11:45 am
Program Starts: 12:00 pm and ends by 1:15 pm

Plated Meal: Ceasar salad, grilled chicken with julienne ham & provelone cheese on a bed of marinara sauce, vegetable rice pilaf, and New York cheesecake.  There is a vegetarian option of vegetable lasagna.

Ticket Cost: $35 each (includes plated meal, program, and you may submit questions for the panel.)

Reservations must be made by Friday, March 19, 2010 at 5 pm.

Program features include: honoring our 2010 Headliner Award Winners and the 2010-2011 Topeka AWC Washburn University scholarship winner followed by a media panel discussion.  The media panel will consist of panelists from varied local media outlets and will focus on the topic - "Media Moving Into the Future."
