July 15, 2008: Tour of Mainline Printing in Topeka
PRESENTATION:
"Stop wondering what happens to your files after they zip off to the printer..."
Now is your chance to go inside the world of presses, plates, binderies and more at Mainline Printing! Learn about common hold-ups in Pre-Flight, the latest computer-to-plate technologies, and why four-color takes so much longer to dry than your black and white printings… and much more.
Best of all, learn from Jane Hazard, our plant tour guide, and her firsthand experience plus tips and tidbits of the printing industry.
From Jane - “I’ve been working with or for printers for over 30 years and still learn something new almost daily. Educating my customers about the printing process is a win, win situation. The customers are more satisfied with the end results, and my job is less stressful, because we are communicating effectively.”
Jane brings with her a proven experiences coupled with a unique creativity. Her passion for printing, graphics and the industry provides her valuable insight into the concerns and needs of the customers in which she serves.
Enjoy a Mr. Goodcents sub meal in the conference room of Mainline Printing and top off the gathering with a tour through the actual plant. Come prepared to have fun, get questions answered and generate new ideas!
Space is limited, so please RSVP to secure your spot.
